CUSTOMER JOURNEY
Lots of people come to us unsure of the process involved in having Granite or Quartz work surfaces fitted. The process is, in fact, rather simple.
Kitchen plan
Firstly, we need to know the approximate measurements and layout of your kitchen. When you visit our showroom remember to bring a copy of your kitchen plan with you. If this is a problem we can visit your home to take your kitchen measurements.
Pick your material
Secondly, we need to know what Granite or Quartz you are thinking of having – different Stones can vary dramatically in cost. You will have a one-to-one with one of our experts who can help pick from the hundreds of different stones we have available. We will then provide you with a quotation within 24-48 hours that we will send to you in writing.

Pick your date
All we need to do is arrange a date to template your kitchen and install your worktops. The installation will be 7-10 calendar days after we template your kitchen. We take a deposit to secure your dates and normally ask for a minimum of 2-3 weeks notice to start this process. If you want the work started sooner, please give us a call.
Slab delivered to showroom
Once your dates are booked in we will have your stone delivered to our Basildon showroom where we invite you to view the exact slab that we will be using for your worktops. We ask that you view your slab before we template your kitchen, so we have enough time to change your slab if you wish. This gives us enough time to order a different slab for you and minimalize any delays.
Template
We visit your home to measure your units and make mock worktops using corrugated plastic cut exactly to your specification. A template for an average sized kitchen takes 1.5 – 2 hrs, approximately.
Cut & polish
We then take your slab to our factory where a team of masons spend the next 7 days using your templates to cut, shape and polish your new bespoke worktops.
Installation
We will then visit your home to install your new worktops. This usually takes half a day. Our fitters always work in a clean and tidy manner to minimise disruption. Once we’re done, our fitters will have a quick chat with you to check that you’re happy, they’ll explain how to use your complimentary Care Kit we provide. You can then enjoy your new kitchen!
